I love using bold, vibrant and dramatic colours and enjoy experimenting with different and often unlikely combinations.

I believe that colour can have a powerful effect on emotion and my aim is always to create paintings that lift the spirits and enhance the mood.

Much of my work has a floral theme because I have always loved flowers and being around plants.

Plants provide me with an unlimited source of shapes, colours and textures - all of which can be used to fuel my imagination and desire to paint. They also foster a sense of peace and tranquility. So my aim is also to create art that engenders happiness and soothes the soul.

My paintings have been produced using acrylic paint along with a variety of other media, and most of them are on deep edge canvas.

I have produced a collection of cards from my artwork, using whole paintings or selected parts.
